Warehouse Supervisor - Warehouse
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary:
We are seeking personable, passionate, and energetic supervisors to work in our various concepts as a hands-on member of the management team. Supervisors lead crew members in the absence of management and are responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service, company food and safety standards, processing of sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, for having overall understanding of cash register/POS operations and for safeguarding company assets. Each supervisor provides supervisory assistance for all manager within their assigned locations.
Furthermore, the ability to communicate and delegate tasks and duties to crew members as directed by management is required, and to ensure crew member performance to OTG standards.
Responsibilities:
- Trains crew members- new and current- in job requirements
- Oversees the money count in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure correct amounts of adequate change
- Ensures accurate pricing and tabulation bills through correct use of calculator, cash register, or price scanners.
- Re-trains as needed
- Ensures execution of OTG cash handling policies and procedures
- Greets and assists customers, answers questions, resolves problems, and provides outstanding customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of space
- Ensures crew is productive and performs all above mentioned tasks/ responsibilities
- Assists management enforcement of work and health policies; reports all food safety and work safety issues immediately
- Ensures all food is within proper temperature holding zones by conducting frequent line checks
- Participates new crew member hiring process and recommends candidates to management
- Monitors and prepares documentation of performance issues for management; makes recommendations of appropriate disciplinary action to management
- Participates in disciplinary and termination meetings for witness and training purposes
- Performs other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the micros and register system
- Knowledge and maintain OTG principles, standards, practices, and expectations
- Ability to communicate information and policies in a manner easily understood by customers and crew members
- Knowledge of all equipment necessary for crew members to perform their jobs
- High ethical standards
- Understand regular attendance and punctuality is expected of all employees
- Knowledge of foreign languages is preferred but not required
- Compliance to wear complete stated company uniform if necessary
- Ability to work varied hours/ days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
